must say - it’s quite scary witnessing a car wreck right in front of your eyes.  I was driving on Route 522 on my way to the post office this morning - where they’re building the new fields by the Manalapan rec center.  And a white SUV driving 2 cars in front of me started to weave onto oncomming traffic -

I thought he was passing someone - but no - he drove about 200 feet in the wrong lane and smashed - head on into a pile of brush and into a powerline/telephone poll.  Broke the pole in half and stopped.

About 4 cars pulled over immediately - I and some others were on their cells calling 911 - mind you, this occured less than a half mile from the Manalapan police dept.  To their credit, they arrived within minutes.  The driver was concious, though dazed.  In retrospect, it was by the grace of God that he didn’t hit someone driving toward him.  I wish the driver well - and it just goes to show you how alert you must be at all times - even on short trips around town.
